Nicknamed “Sweet ‘ands” (as in hands) because he’s such a good cook, Dennis Forde recently celebrated the 30th Anniversary of his restaurant Dennis’ Hideaway.

Like many people born and raised in these small islands, Dennis spent his formative adult years out on the ocean, captaining fishing boats and then operating dive boats. After coming home in 1989, he opened his first restaurant and guest house in , the over look saline bay mayreau, Dennis was a former  captain for deep-sea fishing boats and yacht  charter and private yachts at a very young age  retired comical sailing and stay building his hideaway hotel bar and restaurant on mayreau  he is slso the chief cook at his place and some time captain for his soports fishing boats and lobster boat and taking the guest out on tours to the Tobago cays and other island and sports fishing  he also arrange scuba diving for you with grenadines dive   and entertainment for you at the bar on cocktail hours  and after dinner and pool party and beach BBQ  you can't go wrong staying with Dennis  he also like giving the history of his life and the island  he also was a yacht racing champ he love to mingle and chatting with his guest  just like the times being on his yachts as captain and he always smiling  he is also the father of 4 beautiful grown up  2 boys 2 girls  live in Europe some were born there  Dennis is a world traveler  lots of knowledge and full experience man  and also a justice of the peace in St Vincent and the grenadines.
